Credentials & Compliance
CERTIFIED TO FLY. QUALIFIED TO DELIVER.
Building Envelope Inspections
Comprehensive inspection of facades and roofing to identify water intrusion and structural concerns — without scaffolding.
ITC Level I Infrared Thermographer
Industry-standard infrared certification through the Infrared Training Center, ensuring every thermal report is authored by a qualified analyst, not just a drone operator.
CARs 901 Compliant
Full compliance with Canadian Aviation Regulations Part IX governing RPAS operations — mandatory insurance, safety management protocols, and operational standards on every mission.
Level 1 Complex Ops
Authorization to operate in high-risk environments including densely populated areas, over moving vehicles, and in proximity to critical infrastructure — legally and safely.
Our Story
BUILT ON A REFUSAL TO GUESS.
ITC Level I Thermographer
Precision RPAS Thermal was founded in Vancouver by a team of aviation professionals and certified thermographers who saw a gap in how building inspections were being conducted, too slow, too risky, and too dependent on human assumption.
The Technology
We invested in radiometric thermal sensors, not consumer-grade cameras, and built our operational protocols around Transport Canada's most rigorous airspace standards. Every pilot on our team holds an Advanced RPAS certificate and level 1 complex operations approval.
Today
We now serve strata corporations, commercial property managers, industrial operators, and construction firms across Vancouver and the Lower Mainland. Our reports don't just describe problems — they provide the thermal evidence needed to act on them.
Building inspections have traditionally been expensive, slow, and inherently dangerous, requiring scaffolding, rope access, and hours of manual observation under conditions that put workers at risk and drive up costs.
We were created to change that equation. Using professional-grade thermal drones operated by ITC-certified thermographers, we can inspect an entire building facade in hours — not days — capturing infrared data at a pixel-by-pixel resolution that reveals moisture, heat loss, electrical faults, and structural concerns invisible to the naked eye.
Our team holds every certification required to operate legally and safely in Vancouver's complex urban airspace: Advanced RPAS through Transport Canada, ITC Level I infrared certification, CARs 901 operational compliance, and Level 1 Complex Operations authority for high-risk environments.
What we deliver isn't a collection of thermal images. It's a structured, annotated analysis report, built to inform engineers, property managers, and contractors with the precision they need to make the right call.
What Drives Us
MISSION & VALUES
Precision Over Speed
We never rush a mission. Optimal thermal windows, proper flight planning, and thorough post-processing take time — and that time is what separates an accurate report from a liability. Every anomaly is documented, measured, and contextualized before it reaches your hands.
Safety Is Non-Negotiable
We operate in urban airspace above occupied buildings and active worksites. Our protocols treat every flight as a safety-critical operation. We hold every certification required by Transport Canada, and we never compromise on pre-flight checks, airspace coordination, or risk assessment.
Data You Can Act On
A thermal image without interpretation is noise. We train our thermographers to go beyond documentation, to identify root causes, assess severity, and provide the kind of annotated findings that an engineer or property manager can take directly to remediation. Reports ship with heat maps, delta measurements, and recommended next steps.
Transparency at Every Step
From quote to delivery, you know exactly what we're doing, why, and what it costs. No hidden fees, no vague deliverables. We scope every project clearly and communicate throughout, because surprises have no place in infrastructure inspection.
Our Commitment
THE STANDARD WE HOLD OURSELVES TO.
Certified on Every Flight
No mission goes up without the correct certifications, airspace authorizations, and safety checks in place — regardless of job size or deadline pressure.
Thermal Conditions or We Reschedule
Thermal inspections require specific ambient temperature differentials to produce accurate data. We only fly when conditions meet ITC standards — and we'll tell you when they don't.
Reports Delivered in 48 Hours
From inspection to annotated thermal report, our standard turnaround is 48 hours. Because infrastructure decisions can't wait weeks for paperwork.
Data Retained & Available
All radiometric data and flight logs from your inspection are retained and available to you. If a follow-up inspection is needed, we can overlay new data against previous baselines.
